When Screens 1 launched back in December 2010, we couldn’t have imagined the incredible journey we were embarking on. Fourteen years later, Screens has grown and evolved, thanks to the unwavering support of our amazing community.
A Big Leap Forward with Screens 5
December 6, 2023, marked the launch of Screens 5, a major milestone in our mission to make remote access simple and seamless. With a universal app for Mac, iPad, and iPhone, and now Vision Pro, we made it easier than ever to stay connected. A refreshed library for managing connections and an intuitive new toolbar were just a few of the features that set Screens 5 apart from the start.
Growing Stronger, Together
Thanks to your feedback and support, Screens 5 continued to improve throughout the year:

Family Sharing (December 2023): We made it easy for families to share a single subscription, keeping everyone connected without extra costs.

Enhanced Features in Version 5.1 (February 2024): Connection testing, drag-and-drop organization, and better clipboard handling were just a few of the improvements we rolled out early in the year.

Vision Pro Support (May 2024): With version 5.2, we embraced Apple’s Vision Pro, unlocking new possibilities for remote computing.

Tailscale Integration (July 2024): Version 5.3 brought seamless connectivity with Tailscale, plus support for Raspberry Pi 5 and new user authentication options.

Two-Factor Authentication (October 2024): Version 5.4 made security a priority while adding convenient new features like right-click dragging.
